It's a boy !!!!

Had our 20 week scan this week. After 2 gruelling hours feeling like I desperately needed to pee (but apparently not needing to) we got a shoulder & head mugshot of our little guy. Needless to say, we are both very excited about our little boy's arrival, hopefully in February next year.

Hi everyone,

While sitting in church the other day I had a thought that was quite awe inspiring at the time.

God created a world filled with amazing things and yet he chose to dwell in human hearts.

I find that amazing, because as of late I have definitely my wow list out of order. I could look at a waterfall for ages and be gobsmacked. I could look at the surf and thing it is just awesome. Yet I haven't taken the moment or time to consider the human heart (not the physical one, but the spiritual one). Christ chose not massive mountains, the raging surf, or wonderful scenery or food to dwell but he chose the human heart. Perhaps there is more to the human heart than we see...

One this is for sure. God sure finds it amazing!

Ginger Beer - I love it!

I have recently been in contact with Bundaberg Brewed Drinks about their change in ring pull tops for their 375mL bottles of ginger beer.

I wrote them the following email and their reply is posted below.


"Hello,

I am an avid drinker of your ginger beer. I believe it is the best ginger beer you can buy in the world and for that reason I have bought many, many Bundaberg ginger beers over the last 5 years or so. I am extremely disappointed however, with the recent change in ring pull lids you have chosen to use.

In the last 2 four packs of ginger beer that I have purchased, only 1 out of the 8 has opened correctly and some have even opened so badly that I have cut my fingers trying to get the top off the bottle! When I drink a ginger beer I am generally tired and worn out after a long days work, and the added stress in something that I used to enjoy very much has been frustrating, annoying and at times painful.

I am a very disappointed customer considering brewing my own ginger beer instead of purchasing yours or changing brands. "



Their reply to the email was prompt and satisfying. Due to the disclaimer on the bottom of the email, I cant show the email content here, but they gave me tips on opening the bottles correctly and they asked for the used by date on the side of the bottle so that they could check the batch number of the drinks I had trouble with and look for a remedy.

The most exciting part of it all though was that they sent me a pack from their company that contained free drinks and a bundaberg brewed drinks bucket hat! I must admit that I was shocked at the response and I will definatly be continuing buying my ginger beer from Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.
